In December 2022, right before his potentially fatal vehicle accident, Rishabh Pant participated in his final red-ball match. The wicket-keeper hitter was back in action during the 2024 Indian Premier League and helped his country win the T20 World Cup. Most recently, he was playing in the Duleep Trophy 2024 Round 1 match. The Gabba conqueror is regarded as one of the most amazing Test bats, and his comeback to the format is eagerly anticipated.
On September 19, India will begin a two-match Test series against Bangladesh. Rishabh Pant will probably find a spot, but he must demonstrate his fitness for the game.
The much-awaited chance finally arrived in the form of the Round 1 match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, where on September 7, the southpaw scored a half-century while playing against India A.
For India B, the 26-year-old is a player under Abhimanyu Easwaran. He batted at number five and quickly reached 61 off 47, smashing two maximums and nine boundaries. Eventually, through Tanush Kotian, he walled up to Kumar Kushagra. When India B finished Day 3 on 150 for 6, Sarfaraz Khan made another noteworthy contribution. He left the game after scoring 46 off 36.

Musheer Khan, an uncapped young batter, is one specific factor contributing to India B’s dominance of the game. Walking about the park, the right-hander sprinkled opportune boundaries and finished with a lengthy inning. In the first innings, he hit 181 off 373 balls, adorned with five maximums and sixteen boundaries.
