After a lengthy absence from competitive cricket, star Indian wicketkeeper-batter and Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant is ready to return. Rishabh Pant was recently involved in an awful vehicle accident.
He recently shared a narrative suggesting his preparedness, using a photograph of his leg training to demonstrate his commitment to a comeback. In the forthcoming IPL 2024, Rishabh Pant is anticipated to captain his IPL team, the Delhi Capitals.
A former under-19 player conned Pant out of an incredible Rs 1.63 crore a few days ago, shockingly revealing the truth. Many were shocked when Delhi Police on Monday captured the 25-year-old offender, Mrinank Singh.
Rishabh Pant, who dabbled in luxury products as a new business venture, ended up at the center of a scam. In an interview with Sports Tak, Pant’s attorney, Eklavya Dwivedi, disclosed that the wicketkeeper-batter had started a business that involves buying luxury goods at affordable rates. He was completely unaware that this would result in a large financial loss.
Singh was charged with obtaining pricey jewelry and watches for Pant. Nevertheless, he did not provide the goods as promised, which forced Pant to file a lawsuit claiming the outstanding amount of Rs 1.63 crore,” Dwivedi said.
Singh gave Pant a check to cover the agreed-upon amount of the debt. Sadly, Pant lost money when the check bounced because there wasn’t enough money.
The story went on when Singh spent a week at the Taj Hotel in July 2022 and racked up a Rs 5.53 lakh charge. Singh insisted that Adidas, his purported sponsor, would pay the costs when questioned about the outstanding invoice.
An official complaint was filed against Singh after repeated attempts to pay the debt fell through. When Singh was detained at the Delhi airport on Monday while trying to escape to Hong Kong, the situation became more heated. Strangely enough, he attempted to pose as Alok Kumar, a top Karnataka police officer, and ask immigration authorities for help.
Singh’s cunning attempts came to a stop when Delhi Police received him from immigration authorities, despite his complex ploy.
