Rishabh Pant, a star wicketkeeper and batter for India, expressed his gratitude on Monday to Rajat Kumar and Nishu Kumar, two teenagers who assisted him after he was involved in a car accident and made sure that he arrived at the hospital unharmed. Pant referred to the pair as “two heroes.”
Rishabh took to Twitter in order to upload a picture that had these two people as well as his mother in the background.
“It’s possible that I wasn’t able to personally thank everyone who helped me after my accident, but I feel obligated to recognise these two unsung heroes who came to my aid during the incident and made sure I arrived to the hospital in one piece.
Rajat Kumar & Nishu Kumar, Thank you. I’ll be forever grateful and indebted, “Pant sent out a tweet.
It’s possible that I wasn’t able to personally thank everyone who assisted me after my accident, but I feel obligated to recognise these two unsung heroes who came to my aid during the incident and made sure I arrived to the hospital in one piece.
Pant expressed gratitude to all of his supporters and well-wishers earlier today for their encouragement and well wishes as he continues to recover from the injuries he sustained in a car accident last year.
Pant reported that the operation went well and that he has now started on the “path to recovery.” In addition, he expressed gratitude to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the authorities in charge of the government for their “amazing support.”
“I am overwhelmed with awe and profound gratitude for everyone’s kind words and support. I am happy to report that my operation went well, and I thank you for your concern.
The first step on the path to recovery has been taken, and I am prepared to face the obstacles that lie ahead.
“I would also like to express my gratitude to all of my fans, teammates, and the medical staff and physiotherapists for the encouraging words and kind words they have shared with me. I am looking forward to seeing each and every one of you out on the field.
Notably, it is projected that Pant would be absent from the playing field of cricket for the most of the year 2023. Additionally, it is anticipated that Pant will miss a number of key events, including the Indian Premier League.
