Ravindra Jadeja, the brilliant all-rounder, announced his retirement from the 20-over internationals just hours after he celebrated his second ICC trophy as a cricket player. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma also made the decision to end their careers in the format not too long ago.
This completes his remarkable career, during which he represented his nation for more than fifteen years after making his debut in February 2009. When Jadeja decided to end his T20Is career, he posted on Instagram to express his gratitude to the nation’s supporters and his pride in representing them.
“With immense gratitude, I bid adieu to T20 internationals.” I’ve always offered my all for my nation and I’ll keep doing so in different capacities, just like a proud and unwavering horse. My T20 International career reached its zenith when I won the T20 World Cup, which was a dream come true. I am grateful for the experiences, the encouragement, and the constant support. He posted the announcement on Instagram with the remark, “Jai hind Ravindra Jadeja.”

Men in Blue lose three cricket players ranked A+ in one day.
The Saurashtra cricketer finished his career with 515 runs at a strike-rate of 127.16 in 41 innings and 54 wickets at a commendable economy of 7.13 in 71 innings. He has also been one of the most valuable additions to the set-up because of his fielding efforts, which have included stopping critical runs and grabbing game-winning plays.
Three of the Indian team’s most important players would be leaving in T20Is due to Jadeja’s startling call. Notably, the BCCI has centrally contracted all three cricket players—Virat Kohli, Rohit, and Jadeja—with Grade A+ contracts; they will now only be available to watch for One-Day Internationals and Test matches.
On the microblogging site “X,” the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, also expressed his gratitude to Jadeja for his outstanding contribution to the T20I team.
“Greetings, @imjadeja As an all-around player, you have excelled. Cricket fans respect your deft stroke technique, excellent spin, and outstanding fielding. Thank you for all of the captivating Twenty20 matches throughout the years. The Prime Minister wrote on X, “My best wishes for your future endeavours.”
