The veteran off-break bowler is only eight wickets away from matching Anil Kumble’s Border-Gavaskar Trophy record of 111 wickets against Australia. Moreover, Ashwin (686 wickets) is only two wickets away from surpassing Kapil Dev’s international record of 687 wickets.
