On August 7 at the Pallekele international cricket stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka, Colombo Striker’s Babar Azam scored the game-winning hundred against Galle Titans in the ongoing Lanka Premier League. It’s noteworthy that the Strikers won the match by seven wickets and are currently third in the LPL 2023 points standings.
When the second innings of the match began, former Pakistani batter and PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) chairman Ramiz Raja made a strange remark regarding Azam that quickly gained notoriety on social media. When Raja noticed the opening batter maintaining his guard, he unintentionally declared that he “absolutely loves Azam and wishes to marry him.”
“Fifty in safety, elegance, and tranquillity. In the middle of the innings, in the back, he is your man.
Ramiz Raja was heard stating during the commentary, “I truly adore him and want to marry him.
Eight boundaries and five maximums were part of Babar Azam’s 104-run total off just 59 deliveries. After West Indies legend Chris Gayle, the 28-year-old hitter became just the second player to score 10 hundreds in T20 format after scoring an incredible century.
