PSL 2023: Records fall in Rawalpindi as Multan Sultans thrash Quetta Gladiators, just for fun

The ongoing Pakistan Super League’s match no. 28 is garnering attention for a variety of reasons, including the several records that have fallen during it. Several records were broken during the ongoing match between Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators.

Batting first, Sultans reached Islamabad United’s 247/2 score against Peshawar Zalmi in Abu Dhabi on June 17, 2021, by a margin of 262/3 in their 20 overs. One of the main factors in the Sultans’ massive total was the leadership of Muhammad Rizwan. Rizwan used 29 balls to score 55.

However Usman Khan’s extravagant batting performance was the major factor in how Sultans were able to achieve such a commanding total. With the help of 12 fours and nine sixes, Usman scored 120 runs off of 43 balls. He achieved the three-figure milestone in just 36 balls, making him the PSL player who scored a ton of runs the fastest.
