Superstarz from South Delhi Priyansh Arya made his mark on the history of the Delhi Premier League (DPL). Arya accomplished a unique achievement during a match against North Delhi Strikers at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. He struck Manan Bhardwaj for 36 runs in the 12th over of the innings, smashing six sixes in one over.
There have already been some incredible moments in the DPL’s first season, but Priyansh Arya performance really jumps out.
He imitated a similar action that Yuvraj Singh had taken in the 2007 T20 World Cup. The southpaw hit seven boundaries and six sixes in his 88 runs off 42 deliveries in the match against North Delhi.

Arya didn’t let his brilliant batting performance end after one game. With 344 runs in five innings, he presently tops the league’s run-scoring rankings while keeping an 86.00 average and a 177.32 strike rate. Ayush Badoni is his closest rival, but they are behind by a hundred runs.

The teenage hitter also made DPL history by becoming the first player to score a century. His unbeaten 107 off just 55 balls helped South Delhi Superstarz defeat Purani Dilli 6 by an easy 88 runs. “It feels great because the first player in a new league to score a century is a player for life.” “I’m considering creating additional centuries,” Arya stated, as cited by News18.
