Over the past 19 months, Rishabh Pant has experienced both extreme highs and lows. The keeper-batter suffered terrible injuries in a vehicle accident, which put his cricket future in jeopardy for a few months.
However, Rishabh Pant returned to cricket during the 2024 Indian Premier League thanks to a great deal of hard effort and sheer willpower.
His excellent batting season earned him a call-up to the Indian squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup.
The southpaw in the major tournament was amazing. He made 171 runs in eight games and was a major factor in the competition’s early going. The prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, gave him a hug and expressed his happiness with his contributions and performances. When the Rohit Sharma-led team brought the trophy to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on July 4, they exchanged embraces.

The Prime Minister was also given a unique jersey by officials of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). On the reverse, the number one was imprinted with the phrase “NAMO.”

Additionally, PM Modi got to know all of the other players and took pictures with them and their families. The Indian players left for their team hotel after seeing him, and they arrived at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport shortly after for their travel to Mumbai. The squad is scheduled to arrive in the “City of Dreams” around 4 PM IST. After that, they will proceed to Wankhede Stadium for a lavish celebration.

At Wankhede, where they will also greet the supporters, BCCI secretary Jay Shah will congratulate the Indian squad. Around 6:30 PM IST, the players will take part in a victory parade in Marine Drive following the conclusion of the ceremony in the stadium. The goal is to finish everything by 9 PM IST, so it will probably take at least two hours, if not longer.
