Pakistan is preparing for an exciting 2024–25 season that includes a strong schedule of Test matches against the West Indies, England, and Bangladesh. Pakistan is getting ready to host its busiest red-ball international home season in more than 20 years, and this season represents a critical turning point.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled an ambitious schedule that includes a Champions Trophy, an ODI tri-series, and seven Test matches.
In contrast to previous years, Bangladesh will arrive in August 2024 to begin the season. Pakistan rarely hosts matches during this time of year because of the difficult weather. There will be matches in Rawalpindi and Karachi for the two-Test series versus Bangladesh. After touring Bangladesh, England will travel to Pakistan in October for a three-Test series that includes games in Rawalpindi, Karachi, and Multan.
Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy at home in 2019
With the arrival of the West Indies in January 2025 for a two-Test series in Karachi and Multan, the new year promises even more excitement. Due to scheduling issues, this tour was originally scheduled for January 2024 but has since been postponed. In February 2025, the team will play host to a tri-series of ODIs against South Africa and New Zealand. In addition, the country will host the inaugural ICC Champions Trophy from February 19–March 9, 2025.
