In the current Indian Premier League 2024, the Rajasthan Royals are having a blast. So far in the tournament, they have won each of their three initial games. Every player helps the squad out by stepping up when it counts most. Jos Buttler, though, is an anomaly. The England captain’s inconsistent run at bat is showing no signs of abating. Since criticism of him is at an all-time high, he has no real opposition to support his claims.
Since the beginning of the 2023 World Cup, Jos Buttler’s bat has not produced any noise.
During England’s white-ball tour to the West Indies, his miserable performance persisted. Even in the lucrative Indian League, his stars haven’t lined up perfectly these days. Stuart Broad, a former teammate, has urged both supporters and detractors to be patient with him. In three IPL 2024 appearances, Buttler has only scored 35 runs.

Since the 50-over World Cup in India, he has been going through a bit of a rough spell. He’s still finding his feet in this event, but he’s already been removed twice by some excellent bowling. In an interview with Star Sports, Broad stated, “I think this will be the tournament where he plays well.”
“He and Yashasvi Jaiswal, who bats first, have a terrific relationship. If they both perform well, the Rajasthan Royals will at least make the playoffs and maybe contend for the trophy. I believe we should give him some time. In this event, he will score a lot of runs once he faces a lot of balls, he continued.
Well-balanced throughout the league, the Rajasthan Royals
As the season has begun, RR has checked all the boxes. They were described as a side to be mindful of and a team to be wary of. Having lived up to expectations, they currently occupy the second position in the points table. They defeated the Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants. Their next game is scheduled for April 6 in Jaipur against Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
