Star hitter Travis Head of Australia was just told he had COVID-19. Travis Head was diagnosed with a viral virus following the opening match against the West Indies, and he is presently recuperating from it. His place in Australia’s starting lineup for the second Test at the Gabba in Brisbane is uncertain because of the diagnosis.
Regarding the same, Australian captain Pat Cummins stated that Head is among the favorites to make Australia’s playing eleven for the second Test, having “almost recovered” from his virus.
According to India Today, Cummins stated, “I think he’s almost out of it. He’ll be fine, and he’ll train tonight. Obviously, even if he is still positive he can still play, there might just be a few protocols.”
Despite the fact that the all-round batsman hasn’t fully recovered from the infection, the Australian captain’s remarks raised the possibility that he would play in the Brisbane Test.
