Pakistani pacer claims MS Dhoni warned Virat Kohli to back off after the Indian batsman slew an arrow at him during the World Cup

Any cricket match between India and Pakistan has the potential to bring the two nations to a standstill. The intense competition between the two teams has given rise to a wide variety of cricket legends.

Even if some heroes emerged, there were also many reputations that were ruined.

Virat Kohli, a former captain of India, has performed admirably against Pakistan. In the most recent match between these two teams, in which they competed against one another, Kohli single-handedly led India to victory.

Recently, Pakistani fast bowler Sohail Khan, who has appeared in nine Tests, 12 ODIs, and five T20 Internationals, recalled an altercation that he had with India’s Virat Kohli during a match at the 2015 World Cup.

According to Sohail, who played his final match for Pakistan in 2017, Kohli made an attempt to intimidate him while the game was in progress.

During that match, Sohail took five wickets, including those of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, and Ajinkya Rahane. He finished with a wickets-for total of 55. Pakistan was successful in dismissing India for 300/7, however their chase score was only 224.

“When I walked out to bat, Virat came up to me and said, “You’re getting better at cricket all the time.” And you’ve only just arrived, but you’re already talking so much (itni baatein karte ho).

I said ‘Beta jab tu Under-19 khel raha tha na, tera baap Test cricketer tha’ (Son, when you were playing Under-19 for India, your father [referring to himself] was a Test player). Back in the day, I competed in cricket tests.

In 2006 and 2007, I participated in several test matches. Then, in the middle of everything, I wound up hurting my knee, which sidelined me for a while.

That is how I expressed myself. After that, Misbah took action, and as a result, he became upset with me. He asked me to keep quiet, “According to what Sohail said on a video posted on YouTube by Nadir Ali.

“Dhoni appeared before him and informed him, “Side pe ho jao, purana chawal hai yeh” (Step aside, he is experienced). You are not familiar with him.”
