On the occasion of the third anniversary of their engagement, India all-rounder Hardik Pandya posted a sweet message to his wife Natasa Stankovic on social media.
It is important to note that Hardik and Natasa became engaged when they were on a cruise on January 1, 2020, and they went on to tie the knot during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Later on in that same year, the couple welcomed a son into the world whom they called Agastya. On Sunday, the happy couple celebrated the third anniversary of their engagement by exchanging photos online. Hardik posted a photo of himself and Natasa alongside the comment, “Happy 3 years to us baby.”
Notably, Hardik will serve as the captain of the Indian team for the upcoming Twenty20 International series against Sri Lanka, which will begin on January 3.
He was upgraded to the role of vice-captain in one-day internationals and was given the responsibility of leading the Twenty20 International team against Sri Lanka. In the one-day internationals, Rohit Sharma will serve as the team’s captain.
The fact that Hardik has been promoted to the position of T20I skipper while remaining Rohit’s deputy in ODIs may be interpreted as a possible indicator of a transition that the team will most likely go through in the coming months.
After India’s loss to England in the T20 World Cup semi-finals, many people began to speculate that Pandya will replace Rohit. Pandya was the captain of the Gujarat Titans team that won the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.
The Twenty20 International team has a new look because to the inclusion of two uncapped pacers, Shivam Mavi and Mukesh Kumar, in the shorter format of the game.
In spite of the fact that Rohit is still healing from an injury to his thumb, the BCCI did not specify in their press release if Pandya’s appointment was a permanent change or whether it was simply for the current series.
