On the Occasion of Republic Day 2023, Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri Have Tweeted Their Best Wishes

On Thursday, India will be celebrating its 74th Republic Day, and members of the cricket community have taken to social media to share their best wishes for the country on this momentous day.

Virat Kohli, a star batter for India who was instrumental in his team’s victory in the one-day international series against New Zealand, posted a video of the Indian flag to Twitter after the series victory.

Ravi Shastri, who had previously served as head coach of India, also expressed his best wishes on Twitter. “May you have a happy Republic Day. Shastri captioned a picture of the Indian flag with the phrase “Jai Hind.”

The batter for India, KL Rahul, who has recently tied the knot with the Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty, has also conveyed his best wishes.

“May you all have a joyous and prosperous Republic Day!” In his tweet, Rahul wished that “our nation” will “continue to flourish and prosper together as one.”

“I hope you all have a wonderful Republic Day!” I pray that the three-color flag will always soar high. Dinesh Karthik, a seasoned wicketkeeper and batter for India, captioned a shot of the Indian flag with the phrase “Jai Hind.”

An image on Twitter was captioned with the phrase “Happy Republic Day to those that are part of this beautiful nation,” which was posted by India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya.
