Virat Kohli, a star batter for India who was instrumental in his team’s victory in the one-day international series against New Zealand, posted a video of the Indian flag to Twitter after the series victory.
Ravi Shastri, who had previously served as head coach of India, also expressed his best wishes on Twitter. “May you have a happy Republic Day. Shastri captioned a picture of the Indian flag with the phrase “Jai Hind.”
The batter for India, KL Rahul, who has recently tied the knot with the Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty, has also conveyed his best wishes.
“May you all have a joyous and prosperous Republic Day!” In his tweet, KL Rahul KL wished that “our nation” will “continue to flourish and prosper together as one.”
