India’s young team celebrated a convincing 4-1 victory over the hosts to end their trip of Zimbabwe in style. Their triumph was especially sweet because they had suffered a loss in the first game of the series and had bounced back to win four straight games.
A picture of Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi, Khaleel Ahmed, and Abhishek Sharma sitting and posing on a small platform within the airport terminal was shared on Instagram by wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel.
Jurels wrote a funny description that brought attention to the otherwise unremarkable photo: “Garden mein mana kiya toh airport mein ghumne aagaye (Prohibited from roaming in the garden, so we came to the airport to wander).”
The tweet received a lot of attention online with funny comments from several cricket players, including Suryakumar Yadav.

For those who are unaware, the caption refers to a particular event involving the stump microphone that featured Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and exhorts the younger players to remain vigilant while playing. When England reached 143/4 at the end of the 31st over on Day 2 of the second Test between India and England in Vizag, Rohit was overheard encouraging his men to pay attention on the field in his own unique way while using the stump mic.
Remarkably, Jurel only played in the first two games of the T20I series before being substituted for Sanju Samson. Shubman Gill, the captain, and Mukesh Kumar, a right-arm medium pacer, emerged as the series’ top run scorer and greatest wicket-taker, respectively, amassing 170 runs across five innings and taking eight wickets in three.
