After being bowled out for 449 runs, New Zealand’s first innings in the second Test between Pakistan and New Zealand in Karachi came to a close on day 2 of the match.
This was accomplished by the visitors as a result of a last wicket stand of 104 runs that was put together by Matt Henry and Ajaz Patel. However, the day got off to a good start for the home team when Naseem Shah produced another masterpiece of a delivery to dismiss Ish Sodhi, which brought the score for the New Zealand team to 309/7.
Because Sodhi was not paying attention to the line of the ball, Naseem was able to bowl an excellent delivery to a right-handed batter by pitching the ball at length and hitting the top of the off stump with it.

Naseem finished the innings with three wickets, the same number as the spinner Salman Agha. Additionally, Abrar Ahmed, Pakistan’s most recent spin star, took three wickets.
New Zealand got off to a terrific start in the match thanks to a century from Devon Conway, two half-centuries each from Tom Latham and Tom Blundell, and an unbeaten half-century from Matt Henry.
Both sides are virtually eliminated from the running to win a spot in the final of the ICC World Test Championship.
