In the ongoing IPL 2024, Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by 12 runs in Jaipur on March 28 to record their second straight victory. With the bat and the ball, respectively, Riyan Parag and Impact Player Nandre Burger were instrumental in the Royals’ victory.
The Indian Premier League’s official Instagram account posted a video of the two having a great time conversing after the game. They discussed Parag’s brilliant innings against DC and Burger’s favourite wicket.
“How’s the IPL going so far?” questioned Nandre Burger to Parag.
“I thought it was excellent. fascinating. He answered, “I think it’s good that people are coming and learning about the culture and stuff like that.
He was then asked, “Excellent game, excellent spell today,” by the batsman. Which wicket—the clean bowl or the bouncer—was your favourite?
Without a doubt, the clean bowled, he answered. The lights themselves are very cool when you see them, and hitting the stumps is always enjoyable, in my opinion.”
“I appreciate you batting so well; without you, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to pitch. I am not pleased with you for taking on a fellow citizen. But I’m pleased because I can tell you that the last over was amazing because you’re on my team. What was your reaction to that knock?” questioned Burger.
“Felt good,” was Parag’s reply. Having been here since I was seventeen, I am in my sixth year and this is my best result yet. I was planning it, so I’m really happy with how it turned out. It’s so beautiful when an idea comes together and gets executed.”
Then Parag asked Burger to take off his hair and discuss it.
The pacer responded in a funny way, revealing his hair: “So this is called the Holi haircut.” You can acquire this by asking for the Nandre Burger special the next time you visit a barber. This occurred amid the Holi festivities. He is revealing his toes and nails, which are even pink.
It goes without saying that everyone harassed me. Whenever I went outside, someone was always putting something in my hair every two minutes. After a while, I just don’t want to wash out. I believe I will accept it. I’m just going to say, Guys, let’s just celebrate if it starts to fade. so that the colour returns to me. That concludes the matter.

The Delhi Caps were defeated by the Rajasthan Royals by 12 runs.
After the Delhi Capitals won the toss and chose to bowl first, the Rajasthan Royals found themselves in a difficult situation early in the first innings. But the hosts rallied behind a rapid 45-ball 84* from Riyan Parag, who batted at No. 4, as RR amassed a respectable 185. When Parag amassed 25 runs in the final over against Anrich Nortje, he bowled, and his knock was even more remarkable.

While chasing the mark, DC got off to a strong start, but in the fourth over, Nandre Burger struck for RR, taking out Mitchell Marsh and Ricky Bhui. When DC was at 97/3 in the 12th over, David Warner looked strong, but Avesh Khan dismissed him for 49. At the end, DC had a glimmer of hope thanks to Tristan Stubbs (44* off 23), but they were only able to score 173 runs, which was insufficient to cross the finish line.
