MS Dhoni, the former captain of India, is renowned for being a superb referee. Many of Dhoni’s supporters have dubbed the method the “Dhoni Review System” because of how accurate he is when it comes to making excellent DRS calls in addition to his glove work. Indian umpire Anil Chaudhary recently spoke up and praised Dhoni’s ability to make decisions. He also discussed how experience has improved current wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant’s abilities and how they have improved together. Chaudhary also discussed the advantage a wicketkeeper has over other fielders when it comes to making choices of this nature on the pitch.
Although Dhoni is almost correct, it isn’t always the case (sometimes it’s the other way around). Chaudhary told Shubhankar Mishra on his YouTube channel, “He has a lot of ideas about the game.”
Additionally, Rishabh Pant has significantly improved since then. Experience is everything; after seeing the replays, you evaluate your calls again. Since they are motionless and can track the flight of the ball, wicketkeepers have the finest position to observe. As wicketkeepers follow the ball, the finest umpires will occasionally base their rulings on their movements, he noted.

Given that Dhoni would spend hours on the pitch, he also said that Dhoni’s decision-making abilities may help him become a competent umpire. “Dhoni is almost exactly right. He prevents others from appealing a lot of the time. He can become a competent umpire if he’s prepared to spend seven hours indoors, the man stated.
