The topic of discussion concerned how Amarendra Baahubali and the renowned cricket player appeared to have similar looks. “Bahubali character face design is the same as Dhoni; is that because you love MS Dhoni?” inquired the journalist. With a kind smile, Rajamouli acknowledged the similarity. “I think character creators are his fans too,” Rajamouli said.
Since the release of the first installment of the Rajamouli-directed Baahubali franchise in 2015, the movie has gained cult status. The movies have offered Indian cinema a fresh perspective in addition to shattering box office records.
