Pakistan’s team director, Muhammad Hafeez, and former English cricketer Michael Vaughan took a selfie together before the first Test. The fans weren’t prepared for Vaughan and Hafeez to upload a photo together, so this player duo was unexpected.
Regarding star Indian batsman Virat Kohli and the timing of his innings in the 2023 ODI World Cup, the two former cricket players held divergent opinions a few weeks ago. On X (previously known as Twitter), Vaughan was eager to defend Hafeez when he said that Kohli was playing slowly and only for himself.
When Hafeez discussed how Kohli prioritized his milestone in India’s match against South Africa, Michael Vaughan even came forward to ridicule the former Pakistani cricket player for having once been bowled by Kohli. Their argument on X gained a lot of support from the public.

At Optus Stadium, Pakistan wants to restrict Australia.
Australia and Pakistan officially started their Test series after weeks of preparation and the warm-up match. The Shan Masood-headed team lost the toss and had to field first when they faced each other in Perth, which contributed to a poor start.
But for Pakistan, this might end up being a godsend in disguise. With no specialist spinner and a team that favors pacers, Pakistan will be looking to top pacer Shaheen Afridi as well as rookies Aamir Jamal and Khurram Shahzad for strong performances.
When Pakistan plays the reigning World Test Championship champions, it would be intriguing to watch if the new skipper causes a shift in the team’s perspective.
