Michael Clarke says of Ravindra Jadeja's much-hyped Nagpur Test ointment images, "I could be 100 percent wrong,"

The day’s top performer was unquestionably Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who faced off against Australia in Nagpur. In the first innings, Jadeja claimed five crucial wickets, but the 34-year-old made news for a different reason. There were several debates when Jadeja was observed touching something to his left index finger.

Michael Clarke, a former Australian captain, spoke out about the trending video. He believed that Jadeja should have given the ball to the umpire before touching his finger with anything. After the day’s play was over, the Indian captain Rohit Sharma and Jadeja were shown the film, and it was made obvious that he was putting a painkilling cream to his painful finger.

“He bowls so frequently that he most likely has a cut or a blister on that finger. What he ought to have done was hand the umpire the ball and watch as he put it on his finger while standing in front of the umpire “The Hindustan Times cited Clarke’s statement.
“I don’t consider that to be a thing when I look at it. I only wish he hadn’t been holding the ball. I don’t believe there will be any comments raised if he throws the ball to the umpire and does that. Just a perception, really. There isn’t anything to it, in my opinion. I could be totally wrong “Added he.

On Day 2, Australia battles back against Team India.
With nine wickets in hand on the second day, the Indian team got things going. At the conclusion of the first day, India sent in Ravichandran Ashwin as the night watchman after losing KL Rahul for 20 runs. Rohit Sharma, the captain, took the initiative and produced an inspiring knock of 120 off 212 balls.

Todd Murphy, who made his debut, excelled for the Australians. The 22-year-old completed his five-wicket haul by taking the wickets of Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul, KS Bharat, and Ravichandran Ashwin, giving the team critical victories.
