After Bangladesh recently won a two-game Test series against Pakistan, they cemented their place in history. Bangladesh triumphed by six wickets in the second Test of the series after winning the first by ten wickets in Rawalpindi.
Bangladesh’s first Test series victory of two matches or more against a team other than Zimbabwe and the West Indies came from the series victory against Pakistan. Mehidy Hasan Miraz of Bangladesh was the star of the show during the two games and was named Player of the Series.

I’ll never forget this moment,” NDTV cited Miraz as saying.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz acknowledged the administration of Bangladesh for his performances and dedicated his Player of the Series victory to the people who have been affected by the country’s ongoing demonstrations.
“I have never before taken home the Player of the Series Award while on a foreign trip. As everyone knows, there has been unrest in our nation lately. This Man of the Series Award is dedicated to the people who lost their lives in the student anti-discrimination rally. One rickshaw puller suffered injuries and subsequently passed away. He said, “I want to give them this award.”

Pakistan was totally outmatched by Bangladesh in the two series matches. Bangladesh consistently spoilt the party for the hosts whenever it appeared like they were taking control of the game, and after two outstanding performances, the team defeated Pakistan in their own home with a historic victory.
