Matthew Hayden has helped mould Pakistan into a more formidable team, according to the former Australian star

Matthew Hayden, who is currently serving as the batting coach for Pakistan, has been given praise by former Australian bowler Brett Lee for turning things around for his team.

Matthew Hayden, who is currently serving as the batting coach for Pakistan, has been given credit by former Australian pacer Brett Lee for turning things around for his team.

There are videos online that show Hayden, a former Australia opening star, delivering speeches inside of a dressing room. This has served as a source of motivation for the team.

Additionally, he has a strong sense of camaraderie with the rest of the Pakistan unit. During the Twenty20 World Cup that took place a year ago, Hayden was also Pakistan’s batting mentor.

Lee continued his discussion of Hayden by saying: “All of these things that he has learned from playing at that top level in these pressure situations that he has now passed on to Pakistan, it would be to back yourself up and play with that freedom.

I can almost make out the words that he is saying to the guys in the locker room about having the self-assurance to express yourself fully as an athlete and to be the best version of yourself.”
