The ongoing second edition of SA20 caused South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj to miss the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Maharaj prayed and asked for peace and harmony in the nation the day before the event. But he hopes to visit the temple soon, and he anticipates that his family will be able to travel thanks to the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Lucknow Super Giants. The sibling team of LSG, the Durban Super Giants, is currently being led by Maharaj in the SA20.
The 33-year-old continued by saying that he and his family had always wanted to travel to India for a pilgrimage and that they had immediate plans to see the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Sadly, my schedule prevented me from visiting during the temple’s inauguration. However, I would most certainly love to visit the Ayodhya temple in the future,” Keshav Maharaj said to Sports Tak.
“Keep your fingers crossed. Perhaps we might make arrangements for that later on. The Lucknow franchise might be able to assist. India has always been a dream destination for my family’s pilgrimage. Thus, perhaps taking the family to Ayodhya will be enjoyable,” he continued.

Keshav Maharaj recently disclosed that, during South Africa‘s recent series against India, he asked the DJ to play “Ram Siya Ram.” The cricket player identified himself as a devout follower of Lord Hanuman and Lord Ram, saying that God has given him the perspective and direction he needs to succeed in his profession.
