Shivam Dube provided a vital cameo, pushing India's total to a competitive 167 runs. Sanju Samson remained the pick of the players for India with the bat for his 58 off 45 balls. For Zimbabwe, Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava bowled impressively, taking two and one wickets respectively.

Chasing a target of 168, Zimbabwe needed a strong start but faltered early, losing two quick wickets within the first three overs.
