Dwayne Bravo, the Knight Riders' skipper, says they are happy with their performance. Adds that Lendl Simmons started slowly and did well to pick up his game. Mentions that the youngsters are learning from every game. Bravo also says the spinners did well in this game. Says they encourage the players to play cricket in the right spirit and they need to keep challenging each other.
Rayad Emrit, the Patriots' skipper, says that he has no words to say after this performance. Adds that is the reason where they are standing in the tournament and Knight Riders are dominating. Mentions no batsmen put up their hand and applied themselves. Emrit also says that everyone needs to motivate themselves and try to win the last two games to take some pride with them.

Earlier in the day, TKR batted with sheer maturity as they piled on the misery on the Patriots bowlers by piling 174 runs. Thanks to a superb 96 from Lendl Simmons and his 144 run stand with Darren Bravo ensured that the Patriots are kept at bay and later are pushed out of the contest. What to speak of TKR's bowling. It was spot on as their spinners were into the wickets column and their pacers have aided their spinners in a big way by containing the run flow of the opposition. Akeal Hosein has been one of the finds for them this season and not to forget the veteran Pravin Tambe who has helped the young spinners to settle into the groove. Sikandar Raza was the wreker in chief with a 3-wicket haul and others also did well to hand TKR a win.
Patriots' poor show with the bat continues. Already under the pump in the entire tournament for their sloppy batting effort, today was no different as the burden of scoring 175 runs for a win put additional pressure on their batsmen. Lewis, Lynn and Ben Dunk all are known for their hard hitting and aggression but all of them have failed collectively which has hurt the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
It's 8th win on the trot for TKR in this season of CPL. What a team they have turned out to be. Whether it is their bowling, batting or fielding they have ticked all their boxes and more importantly they have played as a team where every player has stood up as and when required.
