Victorious St Lucia Zouks captain, Daren Sammy, is very happy with the way the top order batted for the Zouks. Is also happy to see Andre Fletcher taking the game deep and also the impact created by the Afghan star, Mohammad Nabi, praising him for his performance with both bat and ball. Says that the Zouks do not have any superstars but they have a good mix of players and it all boils down to execution on that day.
St Kitts And Nevis Patriots skipper, Rayad Emrit, identifies the last two overs with the ball, as the momentum-changer. Rues that they had the Zouks on the ropes by the 18th over but then let it slip away. Admits that poor catching is letting them down and with 3 losses in 3 games, they need a turnaround.

Scott Kuggeleijn picked up 4 wickets but he came at a time when the required rate was above the roof. Towards the end, there was a flurry of slower balls from every bowler and the batsmen had to make their own pace.
Lynn and Lewis threatened to have a terrific Powerplay, but once Lynn fell to a ripper of a catch from Najibullah Zadran, the Zouks pounced. It is always difficult for a new batsman to bat well on this deck and that showed. Chase and Nabi stifled the batsmen and the run chase never got going after that.
Excellent display by the Zouks. They began well with the bat but then lost way, before Nabi's cameo took them to a par score. But with the ball, they were clinical.

But when we saw the second replay, from another angle, his right foot was touching the ropes! Tough luck.

PITCH REPORT - Danny Morrison has a look at the surface and observes that this is a fresh deck. Feels there is a little bit of grass on this one as compared to the other. But also says that it will be a good track to bat upon.
Daren Sammy smilingly says that it seems like he cannot win a toss. But now, wants his batsmen to assess the conditions, especially the openers, who, he hopes, see off the Powerplay. That will enable the middle order to lay a platform which can get them to 165, which is the average total at this venue. Then, he backs his bowlers to defend that. The aim, he says, is to keep winning and be in the final four. Informs that they are going in with the same team.
Rayad Emrit says that there has been a lot of rain around, so there will be some moisture and hence the decision. Hopes to make use of that. Informs that they are going in with three changes. Adds that Kieran Powell has been picked today because they want a left-hander at the top. Understands that as a team, they need to bat better, given that the bowling is doing well.
