That is it from this game! Sri Lanka Legends will take on India Legends in the showpiece event of the tournament. The final will be played on Sunday, 21st March. The Final will begin at 1900 local (1330 GMT). Make sure you join us for that one. Till then, goodbye and take care!
NUWAN KULASEKARA IS NAMED THE MAN OF THE MATCH. He says that he is very happy with his performance. He says that he has enjoyed his performance. He mentions that the skipper asked him to bowl in the Powerplay and at the death and he tries to keep it simple. He mentions that he does the same thing he used to do while playing for Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka Legends skipper, Tilakaratne Dilshan, says that toss is really important. Adds they have a god batting line up and hence they were able to chase. Dilshan says all the players are doing a fantastic job in all three departmentsts and hopes they can do it in the final. Dilshan says everyone is enjoying and playing good cricket. Tells they are enjoying in their rest days and giving their 100 percent in the field. Tells the boys want to show they still got it. Dilshan thanks the fans for all the Sri Lankan fans. Tells he heard people left early from offices and saw the game on big screen and he is thankful to them. Dilshan says everyone is well only he has a dodgy hamstring but hopes it is well. Tells they are looking to play good brand of cricket and feels if they play like they have so far, they can defeat India Legends in the final.
South Africa Legends skipper, Jonty Rhodes says that Sri Lanka played well and they kept the pressure on. He mentions that they were struggling to field a fit XI. He says that it will be a cracking final. He says that the Sri Lankan Legends fielded well and they have put in the work and they deserve it. He says that they need to work on in all the departments and come stronger the next time around. He says that he enjoyed the tournament and praises the ground staff for the facilities. He mentions that he loves playing in India. He mentions that India has  powerful hitters and Sri Lanka have skilful players.
Earlier in the evening, Sri Lanka Legends won the toss and put South Africa Legends to bat. Apart from Morne van Wyk's 53, there was hardly anything from the Proteas with the bat. They faltered and could muster a paltry score of 125.  It was a Nuwan Kulasekara show as the Sri Lankan pacer rolled back the clock and showed his class as his 5-fer never let South Africa Legends in the game.
Just not enough runs for South Africa Legends bowlers to play with. They did get Dilshan early but defending a paltry total of 125, South Africa Legends needed something magical but unfortunately, there was no fairy tale. Makhaya Ntini and Alviro Petersen were the only two bowlers with the wickets. In the end there just wasn't enough runs on the board for South Africa Legends bowlers to put real pressure on Sri Lanka Legends.
Chasing a modest total of 126, Sri Lanka Legends lost their skipper and talisman, Tilakaratne Dilshan inside the Powerplay as he could not convert his start. Jayasuriya and Upul Tharanga then steadied the ship before the former departed. Jayasinghe came out with intent and his blistering knock took the game away from South Africa Legends. All-in-all it was a very well-paced chase as the Asian side never let the run rate go over 7 rpo.
A fantastic chase from Sri Lanka Legends. They have cruised to the final and once again a South African side has faltered at the semi final hurdle. A tale too familiar. Sri Lanka Legends will take on India Legends in the final!

Time Out! Just a mere formality unless there is a monumental collapse.  Sri Lanka Legends are on the brink of reaching the final as they need just another 9 runs in 24 balls. South Africa Legends already know their fate. A tale that has happened very frequently in the past.
