Right then, that is it from this thrilling encounter. The action continues as we have a game lined up on Thursday, the 10th of August as Birmingham Phoenix Women go against the Welsh Fire Women at 7.30 pm IST (2 pm GMT). Do join us a bit early for the build-up. Until then, goodbye, and cheers!
Ryana Macdonald-Gay is the player of the match for her four-fer. She says she feels great to get to experience such moments and she is happy with the win.
Oval Invincibles Women, who took the first pitch earlier in the day, started out slowly before picking up speed near the end. They ended up with a par total of 128 runs. Alice Capsey scored a half-century and their skipper, Dane Van Niekerk scored 42. The bowling effort was excellent from Manchester Originals Women as Sophie Ecclestone, Fi Morris, Amanda-Jade Wellington and Mahika Gaur picked up a wicket each.
Manchester Originals Women will be upset with how things ended for them. Had they not lost Deandra Dottin, things would have panned out differently for them. They kept on losing wickets from the start whenever a good partnership was brewing.
A fantastic end to this topsy-turvy game. The game went down the wire and in the end, Oval Invincibles Women came out on top by just 5 runs. They bowled really well, credits to Ryana Macdonald-Gay who picked up a four-fer and was certainly the pick of the bowlers for Oval Invincibles Women. Eva Gray chipped in with two while Marizanne Kapp and Paige Scholfield took one wicket a piece.

Lands it down leg, Mahika Gaur looks to play at it but wears it on her pads. A loud appeal but the umpire is unmoved. They refer and the replay shows that it was missing leg. NOT OUT!
