That's all we have got from this match. At 6.30 pm local (5.30 pm GMT), Birmingham Phoenix and Northern Superchargers will be facing in The Hundred, 2021 with the former eyeing a direct entry to the finale. In the women's Hundred, Wednesday will bring the game between London Spirit and Welsh Fire with the former left with a slim chance for qualification. That game will begin at 3 pm local (2 pm GMT) but our build-up will start early. Do join us then. Cheers!
Evelyn Jones is the Hero of the match! She starts off by saying that it feels good to hold on to a catch as it was for the big wicket of Lauren Winfield. She adds that Lauren was playing well and the momentum was with the opponents when that catch was taken. Also adds that her game has come a long way and she is able to express herself and enjoy her batting. Shares that in the winter she worked on how to hit down the ground a bit more and execute some other shots. Also mentions that playing in the Women's Cricket Super League helped her a lot and she's enjoying her cricket a lot. On the hairstyle of Issy Wong, Jones jokes that her head now looks like a tennis ball.
The chase was going on very smoothly for Northern Superchargers Women with Lauren Winfield leading from the front. She was in outstanding touch and formed a couple of handy stands upfront. That provided the required momentum and push to the Superchargers and they appeared to be on the right path. Credit should be given here to the Birmingham Phoenix bowlers who stuck to the task and never lost hope. The wicket of Winfield opened the door of opportunities for them and they barged in. The equation when Winfield fell was 51 needed off 39 balls which narrowed down to 37 needed off 22 balls but then losing both Laura Wolvaardt and Laura Kimmince off consecutive deliveries took the wind out of the sails for the Superchargers.
Excellent comeback from Birmingham Phoenix Women in the second half of the run chase and they deserve this victory. Now, they jump to number 3 in the points table and have also given an outside chance to London Spirit Women. It though is going to be very tough as the NRR of the Phoenix is in the positive while the Spirit will have to win with a significant margin to overpower Birmingham Phoenix Women.

A full toss down the leg side, Beth swings her bat at it and probably gets some inside edge onto the pads. It rolls to square and the batters cross. Birmingham Phoenix Women win by 14 runs and their players are getting in a huddle to celebrate. That's all we have from Northern Superchargers Women as they have been knocked out now.
Who will come in next? Beth Langston is in to face the final delivery.

OUT! Taken at long off. A full toss on off, Smith tries for a big shot down the ground but fails to get it from the meat of her bat. It flies in the deep and Phoebe Franklin takes the simplest of catches.

All over for the Superchargers now. A low full toss on leg, Hollie tries to flick but misses. It goes behind off her pads and they cross.

FOUR! Is it too late? Short and around off, Hollie Armitage steps back to make room and blazes it through cover-point. 17 needed off 3 balls.

Issy keeps it very full and around leg, the batter doesn't get the chance to get under the delivery and only pushes it to mid on for a run.
Who will bowl the final block of five? It's going to be Issy Wong.

Slower through the air, too full and on middle, Smith only ends up pushing it back to Erin. Fantasy job done by Burns! 22 needed more.

Flighted and full on off, a mistimed aerial shot just clears the infield at extra cover and they get two runs.
