The Stars bowling was very disciplined. They kept building the pressure by not letting Hobart score easily and were rewarded with wickets. Brunt and Day were the picks and the rest also did their job. Overall, it was a complete effort by them.
An easy win for the Melbourne Stars. It was always going to be tough for Hobart Hurricanes to chase this down. They needed partnerships but did not get any substantial one. A couple of their batters did get starts but they needed someone to kick on and go big but that was not the case.
