Hmm. I wonder who the PLAYER OF THE MATCH will be. Said no one after watching that clash! It is Rashid Khan, of course! He says that the wicket was good to bowl at. Adds that it was a team effort and he just tried to land the ball in the right areas. Says that it was a dream last match before going back to do national duties. Wishes all the best to his team for the rest of the competition. Says that they need to enjoy their game and hopes that they go through to the next stage of the competition. Informs that he would love to come back here to play the BBL every year.
His name is Rashid Khan and he turned the game on its head! He went for 11 in his first over but the champion bowler knew that he could stage a comeback. It was the 9th over that changed the game. Khan took 2 wickets in that over and there was also a run out. This brought Adelaide Strikers back on top and they never took the foot off the gas after that. Wickets came regularly after that and Brisbane Heat were blown away. Rashid Khan ended with 6 wickets for just 17 runs and the others supported him well. Adelaide Strikers would hope that this win marks a shift in momentum and that they can build on this moving forward.
It was a terrible collapse for Brisbane Heat in the chase. They did lose a couple of early wickets and were 17 for 2 but the 45-run stand between Lachlan Pfeffer and Ben Duckett brought them back on track and it looked like they would get over the line with ease. This was at the end of the 8th over and Heat had no idea what hit them after that.
WHAT A GUY! What a game for Rashid Khan! This is his last game in the season and he has given the fans of Adelaide Strikers a night to remember. A magnificent show by him to get his team a thumping victory.

OUT! CAUGHT! Last game and Rashid Khan has performed and how! Six wickets for him. Take a bow. He finishes with figures of 4-0-17-6 and also ends Brisbane Heat's innings. Bowls a googly, outside off. Liam Guthrie tries to heave it away. The ball kisses the outside edge and Matthew Short at first slip shows superb reflexes. He quickly moves to his right and takes the catch. ADELAIDE STRIKERS WIN BY 71 RUNS!

No hat-trick for Rashid Khan but he has done his job. Full, on off. Xavier Bartlett gets down on one knee and smashes it to deep mid-wicket for a single.
Liam Guthrie is the last batman to walk out. The batters crossed so Xavier Bartlett will face the hat-trick ball.

OUT! TAKEN! A 5-wicket haul for Rashid Khan! He gets revenge on his fellow Afghan player! Tossed up, wide outside off. Mujeeb Ur Rahman heaves it nicely. He gets a pretty good connection on it but this is a big ground. The ball goes straight to deep mid-wicket and Matthew Short takes it. Rashid Khan is once again on a hat-trick in this innings!
Mujeeb Ur Rahman is the new man in. He got Rashid Khan during Adelaide Strikers' innings. Can Rashid Khan get his revenge now?

Leg bye as Xavier Bartlett misses the heave and gets hit on the pads. The ball rolls to square leg and the batters cross over.

FOUR! Third boundary of the over and maybe, the game is not done yet! A low full toss, on the pads. Xavier Bartlett smokes it straight down the ground and the man at long on has no chance.

Short and on off. It goes way over Xavier Bartlett's attempted upper cut. Wide called.
