Right! That's all from this game. The action in the T10 League continues as Qalandars and Delhi Bulls battle it out in game no. 23. You can switch tabs and enjoy the action from that game which will start shortly. From this game, it is goodbye from our side. Take care!
Deccan Gladiators skipper, Imran Tahir, says that he is really proud to lead the side. Tells that it was a good experience for him. Says he is happy with the performance. Feels the tournament has been tough for the bowlers as these are night games and with dew playing its part. Adds he had a great experience playing the tournament which he always wanted to play and challenge himself. Wishes good luck to the teams who have qualified for the next round.
ANWAR ALI IS NAMED AS THE PLAYER OF THE MATCH!
Earlier in the game, on the back of a fine finish from Anwar Ali, the Gladiators posted 120 runs after being asked to bat by the Arabians. The Arabians struck early with Tambe removing Azam Khan. After that Prashant Gupta and Yasir Kaleem added quickfire 64. Both departed in consecutive overs and it looked like the Arabians will finish it off on a high. However, Anwar Ali came in with different plans altogether. He smashed 12-ball 39 and powered the team to a huge score. And that effort from him in the end became the difference.
With the ball, Deccan Gladiators bowlers were superb as they did not give away any scoring oppotunity to the Arabians batsmen. Tahir, Zameer and Summers all ended with a wicket each as good fielding and catching capped of a brilliant day for them in the field.
Chasing 121 in 60 balls needs a good start, which Maratha Arabians failed to get. They lost a couple of wickets upfront which dented their chase. Ishan Malhotra and Mosaddek Hossain in the end did well to hit a few lusty blows but the mounting run rate consumed Malhotra in the penultimate over as the Arabians fell short of the target. Mosaddek Hossain their skipper remained not out on 44 runs as he could not help his side get over the line.
Gladiators prevail with the ball too as they get over the line with ease against Maratha Arabians. The Arabians are the defending  champions but barring that opening game of the tournament they haven't played like one through out the tournament and once again they find themselves on the losing side. They even cannot get a consolation win.

Very full and around off, Mosaddek can only drive it towards mid off. They cross for the first run. Tahir has a shy at the non-striker's end but misses. They take one more for the overthrorw. But it won't matter. Deccan Gladiators win by 29 runs.

Excellent comeback from Zahoor. Bangs it short and on middle and leg, Mosaddek goes for the pull but fails to lay bat on ball.

SIX! BANG! Mosaddek picks the slower fuller ball early. He dances down the track and powers it over long on for a biggie.

A single! This is fine bowling from Zahoor. Nice and full. Sharafu can only flick it down to deep mid-wicket for one.

Two only! Length ball outside off, it is lofted over covers for two. Just 7 off the over. And this has sealed the game in the favor of the Gladitors.

Bouncer outside off, Alishan is early in his pull. The ball takes toe end and goes towards the cover region. They take a single as the bowler quickly gets to the ball and has a shy at the non-striker's end.

WIDE! Slips this one down the leg side. Sharafu misses his flick. Wided.

One more single! A slower fuller ball around off, Mosaddek makes room and looks to clear the man at mid off. Mistimes it as it goes to the mid off region. They cross for one.
