The IPL team CSK also shared the photo of Ravindra Jadeja and Brian Lara on social media with both the message, “Big fan of your work!”
During India’s second One-Day International in the three-match series vs West Indies, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja crossed paths with former West Indies batsman Brian Lara.
The all-rounder called the former cricketer a “legend” and tweeted a photo of themselves together. It is important to remember that Lara participated in 430 international games for the West Indies, scoring 10,405 runs in ODIs and 11,953 runs in Tests. He continues to maintain the record for the greatest individual score in a Test innings (400 not out). Jadeja, but at the other hand, has participated in 291 international competitions.
While Jadeja posted a photo of himself and Lara on his Instagram profile, his IPL team Chennai Super Kings also shared the image with the message, “Big fan of your work!”
Jadeja’s right knee ailment forced him to miss the first two One Day Internationals against the West Indies. Axar Patel was part of the team for the first two games while he wasn’t there.
Axar played well in the first game but had a match-winning effort in the second, scoring an incredible 64 off 35 balls to help India defeat West Indies by chasing down a challenging 312-run mark with two wickets remaining and just as many balls to spare.
