In the first season of the Max 60 Caribbean League, which will take place at the Jimmy Powell Oval Cricket Ground in the Cayman Islands, the New York Strikers will square off against the Caribbean Tigers. With a history of dominating performances in international leagues such as the Legends Cricket Trophy, Lanka Premier League, and Abu Dhabi T10, the Strikers Franchise is eager to demonstrate a similar flair and captivate the audiences in a format that is rapidly gaining popularity worldwide.
With both experienced and up-and-coming players, the Strikers have put together a strong team. Colin Munro, Thisara Perera (Captain), Isuru Udana, Carlos Brathwaite, Kennar Lewis, and Brandon McMullen are among the legendary names on the team. They will be playing alongside players like Angelo Perera, Chanderpaul Hemraj, Mitchell Owen, Ansh Patel, Mati Ullah Khan, Kendel Fleming, Troy Taylor, Akshay Naidoo, Alessandro Morris, Akhilesh R Bodugum, and Davion Codner.
