Kuldeep Yadav departs India to accompany the T20I camp in the West Indies before the IND vs WI match.

Kuldeep Yadav, an Indian spin bowler, has departed to for Caribbean to accompany the T20I team again for 5 series against with the West Indies that will begin later this last week.

The left forearm spinner will return to action following his injury recovery. Kuldeep was selected for India’s T20I team against South Africa, but the left-arm spinner was unable to play in the five matches that followed before the Ireland and England tour due to an undisclosed ailment.

After apparently passing the physical test at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) at Bengaluru, Kuldeep, 27, returned to the national team.
Kuldeep announced his departure for the Caribbean by posting a photo of his bags on his official Instagram account.

Kuldeep has taken 8 wickets at an estimate of 15.50 and an economic rate of 7.75 in four matches against the West Indies. Kuldeep will need to take advantage of the chance to raise his chances of being chosen for the Australian T20 World Cup team.

The wristspinner made great progress in the IPL 2022, scooping up 21 wickets for Delhi Capitals in 14 games at an economy rate of 8.43 since his previous appearance for India versus Sri Lanka in February.
Senior Indian players like Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, and Rohit Sharma have been excused for the current 3 ODI series against the West Indies but it will be back in the lineup for the quickest format.
