India is on the verge of qualifying for the Super 8 of the current T20 World Cup 2024 after two straight victories. Their bowlers have performed admirably thus far, and Rohit Sharma, the captain, and Rishabh Pant have been productive batsmen. Prior to their encounter with the United States of America, former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu advised the team to stick with their winning lineup and try Kuldeep Yadav if they don’t require the batting of Axar Patel or Ravindra Jadeja.
Sidhu stated that the team doesn’t need to make any changes to the starting lineup because the lineup appears fixed. However, going ahead, the West Indies conditions might favour the spinners, thus Kuldeep could end up being a valuable asset.
When you have a winning habit and rhythm, you don’t need to explore. Don’t fix anything if it ain’t broken. Frequently, you catch an arrow in midair and carry it on your back. You already have a combination, so there’s no need for it, Sidhu stated on Star Sports.

The most challenging puzzle is fitting the combo. The blocks for each team combination are unique, and you must fit those blocks. That combination is yours. Yes, you have one option if you want to bat with Kuldeep Yadav instead of your two spinners against the USA, the 60-year-old said.
Sidhu says Kuldeep Yadav may replace Axar.
Kuldeep is an intriguing option given his trajectory, Sidhu said, adding that the star spinner can take Axar Patel’s place in the upcoming games. He did note, though, that the Gujarat-born all-rounder was excellent against Pakistan and that the team management should be facing a difficult decision.
“The balls are coming straight at you (the hitters), but Kuldeep or Yuzi Chahal is hitting them higher than your eyes. Thus, it’s possible that you could suggest that Kuldeep may replace Axar. But Axar gave an excellent performance in the previous game. Thus, it’s a conundrum, Sidhu remarked.
