India put on yet another dominant performance on Day 2 of the current Test match between West Indies and the Caribbean nation, helped by centuries from Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal and Virat Kohli both had unbroken innings of 143 and 36 as India finished Day 2 with a score of 312/2.
The match between Virat Kohli and Windies captain Kraigg Brathwaite on day two was an intriguing encounter. When facing one of the opposition captain’s deliveries, Kohli, who had been finding it difficult to score runs swiftly, expressed his opinion about his bowling style.
On Day 2, Virat Kohli was heard muttering “Bhatta fenk raha hai” into the stump microphone during his innings, casting doubt on the legitimacy of Brathwaite’s bowling motion. No action was taken because Kohli chose not to bring up the matter with the on-field umpire, although it remains to be seen whether the former India captain will do so on Day 3.
