Priceless memorabilia has been donated by prominent Indian cricketers, including MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and others, for the “Cricket for a Cause” auction, which will benefit the Vipla Foundation. KL Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty spearheaded this extraordinary project, which not only gives cricket enthusiasts a chance to own a piece of cricket history but also has a big influence on impoverished communities all throughout India.
With a 36-year history of empowering women and children, the Vipla Foundation runs a special school for pupils with intellectual disabilities and hearing impairments. Interestingly, the auction’s primary goal is to fund this organisation, which educates exceptional kids from underprivileged families. Mana Shetty, a trustee of the Vipla Foundation, highlights how important this occasion is.
This is an opportunity for us all to unite and change the world, not just an auction. Seeing the cricketing greats band together for such a worthy cause is endearing. According to India Today, Shetty stated, “Every item tells a story of passion, hard work, and triumph.”
“You’re helping a cause that has the power to affect lives by bidding on this auction; you’re not just buying a piece of cricket history. Every bit helps, and when we all work together, we can give countless women and children a better future. Kindly assist us in ensuring its success by joining us,” she continued.

Signed cricket equipment is donated to charity by Dhoni, Kohli, Rohit, and Rahul.
The auction, which contains 27 exceptional objects donated by cricket superstars, is scheduled to take place online via Pundole on August 23 at 6:30 PM IST. MS Dhoni’s signed cricket bat from the 2024 Indian Premier League is one of the most valuable items. The signed Team India jersey and batting gloves from the 2019 ICC World Cup are two examples of the modern-day great Virat Kohli’s contribution.

Another memorable moment from the Indian captain Rohit Sharma’s record-breaking performance and his team’s undefeated run to the finals is his signed bat from the ICC World Cup 2023. Among KL Rahul’s gifts are the signed bat and gloves from the same competition that he used to defeat Australia and win the match.
