In the first innings of the first Test match, New Zealand played a superb game against India. After the first day of the first Test rained out, both teams began play on day two in Bangalore. India batted first in the match, and the hosts were unable to withstand the combination of New Zealand’s bowling attack and the cloudy weather.
New Zealand came out to bat in the first innings after India was bowled out for just 46 runs. The team had done well to avoid getting into a predicament like India’s.
KL Rahul’s moment of brain fog in the slips, however, caused a clip from New Zealand’s opening innings to become viral.
Tom Latham, who appeared to be getting more and more dangerous on the field, stepped out to bowl the thirteenth over of the first innings, but he survived a near miss. Latham edged the ball on the second ball of the over, taking it straight to KL Rahul in the slips, where it bounced between Rahul and Kohli.
The top batter couldn’t even get his hand on the ball because he thought Rahul would try to catch it at third slip. The moment’s video has been going popular on social media.
