The high-profile real estate acquisition made by Indian cricketer KL Rahul and his actress wife Athiya Shetty recently made news. For an incredible INR 20 crore, the power couple purchased an opulent flat in Mumbai’s elite Pali Hill neighbourhood.
The 3,350 square foot freshly purchased apartment is located in the posh Bandra neighbourhood. Situated on the second level of the grand, multi-story Sandhu Palace structure, the apartment provides the couple with a roomy urban retreat.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has granted the building a certificate of partial possession. Pali Hill has long been a sought-after area for wealthy and famous people, with property prices frequently surpassing INR one lakh per square foot.
Pali Hill, which has gained popularity among a number of other celebrities, is now among the most affluent areas in the city of dreams.
The pair paid a registration cost of INR 30,000 and stamp duty of INR 1.20 crore, according to the transaction records. Four parking spaces are also included in the July 15th-registered purchase, which is a key asset in Mumbai’s crowded city.

The couple’s acquaintance, which developed into a romantic partnership, has been widely known since they made their relationship Instagram official in 2020. Their wedding was a highly publicised event that took place in January 2023, and their popularity has only grown as a result of recent viral images from their one anniversary party.
Though many senior players will be rested for the series, the top-order batter is anticipated to be featured in the lineup as the Men in Blue get ready for their next visit to Sri Lanka. According to reports, the right-hand hitter will also captain the team in ODIs.
The pair was also sighted at the wedding celebrations of Anant, the son of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, dressed dapperly in traditional attire.
