On July 7, India and Zimbabwe played their second Twenty20 International at the Harare Sports Club in Harare.
Interestingly, India chose to bat first after winning the toss. Sai Sudharsan made his T20I debut at the expense of Khaleel Ahmed, who had a terrible performance in the last game, marking one significant alteration for the Men in Blue. In his three overs of bowling, he gave up 28 runs and did not take any wickets.
Zimbabwe used the same lineup in this match as they did in the first, stopping India by 13 runs. Before the next group of players arrives, Abhishek Sharma and Riyan Parag have another opportunity to play in this game. Both of the rookies were out for two runs and a duck after being removed. The visitors may have decided to bring an additional batter into the game as a result of this.
“I’ll bat first, using the same wicket as yesterday. The best chance for us to bat. It’s a lovely sunny day, and it appears dry. “We need to strengthen our batting, and we toss with Sudharsan in place of Khaleel,” declared Indian captain Gill.
“It appears to be a summer wicket; the pitch will improve.” In any case, we wanted to bowl first. The changing area is cheerful and calm. We are here to accomplish a task, so we will endeavour to complete it one game at a time. Happiness has been fantastic; Chatara meets our needs. “He has performed well for the team most of the time,” declared Zimbabwean captain Sikandar Raza during the toss.
