The 16th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in April 2023 is when veteran New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson suffered an ACL injury, and he is still recovering. Williamson is in a race against time to make a comeback because he has been ineligible for selection ever since.

He is fully committed to his recovery; it’s nice to see him hitting in the nets once more. He’s making great progress, but he still has a lot of work to do to get to where we need him to be, Gary Stead was cited as saying by cricketmood.
Stead said that Kane Williamson might make the World Cup roster but won’t be available for the first round of the competition, but that he could still prepare in time.
