JP Duminy believes that Suryakumar Yadav should be considered for the selection if India adopts an aggressive mentality given his recent white-ball cricket performance.
Team India will be without Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant for the first Test as the Border Gavaskar Trophy preparations are in full swing. This causes them to rethink their middle order. Suryakumar Yadav’s availability and potential inclusion in the team for his first Test have been hot topics of discussion.

JP Duminy, a former South African all-rounder, has also expressed an opinion on whether Suryakumar Yadav ought to be included in the starting lineup. He has said that Suryakumar is one of India’s most interesting batters and that if they want to play with an aggressive attitude in this series, he should bat.
