JP Duminy, a former all-rounder for the Proteas, has been appointed head coach of the Sharjah Warriors, an ILT20 team. In addition to his coaching expertise in the South African domestic setup, Duminy assumed the role of white-ball batting coach for South Africa at the end of 2023. He has experience working with the Boland Rocks, and he coached the Paarl Royals in the inaugural SA20 season after that.
JP Duminy talked about how happy he was to be leading a team full of young energy as they prepared for the upcoming season, which would start in January of the following year.

The skilled southpaw will share his extensive knowledge with the guys who will be joining the team shortly. With 81 T20Is and 264 T20s under his belt, he has a wealth of experience in the shortest format, having made equal contributions with the bat and the ball.
In addition, Duminy has participated in the Pakistan Super League, the Caribbean Premier League, and the Indian Premier League. He has been an invaluable member of the teams he has played for.
Johan Botha, a fellow countryman, will relinquish his position as head coach to Duminy after leading the team for the first two seasons. Actually, Duminy was the batting coach for the Warriors in the past.
