James Anderson, an England pacer who was just brought back, is presently practicing bowling with the team ahead of the Test series against Sri Lanka. Regarding the current series with Sri Lanka, England is comfortably up at 221/3 following a 44.1 finish on Day 1 of the third Test at Kennington Oval. On the first day, poor light may force the remaining overs to be bowled.
