Ishan Kishan missing the Asia Cup, an ex-New Zealand cricketer said, “He’ll be disappointed.”

Scott Styris, a former all-rounder for New Zealand, is of the opinion that Ishan Kishan would be disheartened if he were not selected for the Asia Cup.

Ishan Kishan is a left-handed batter who is considered to be one of the most dynamic batters in all of world cricket. When he is on his game, he is capable of wreaking havoc on the bowling lineup of the opposition. However, the batter has had a rocky history with the team, and despite their best efforts, he was not selected for the Asia Cup squad. KL Rahul will make his comeback to the side as vice-captain after being sidelined due to injury and Team India has announced that they would field a full-strength team. Scott Styris, a former all-rounder for New Zealand, is of the opinion that Kishan would be disheartened if he were not selected for the Asia Cup.

“The choice of K.L. Rahul was a straightforward one, and I believe that of all the potential match-ups that we’ve gone over, this was the most straightforward one. Because of how valuable he is to the Indian team, the management, and the selectors, he has been handed the vice-captaincy. As a result, you can see how valuable he is “Styris stated this on the daily sports news show titled “SPORTS OVER THE TOP” that is broadcast on SPORTS18.

“That indicates that he was always a frontline player for this Indian side, and I guess it’s unfortunate for Ishan Kishan, because he has the left-handed ability that they’d have loved to have gotten into the squad if they could have because it’s a very right-handed dominant side until you get to someone like Rishabh Pant. Ishan Kishan has that left-handed ability, and I think they’d have loved to have gotten into the squad if Therefore, I believe that he will be dissatisfied, and of course, he is an excellent player. But K.L. Rahul, it is wonderful news for India that he has returned because, as you may be aware, he is a true match winner even when playing on the grandest stages, “he added.

After warming the bench for the first four Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) played against West Indies, Ishan Kishan has just gotten into the action for the fifth and final T20I.

Kishan scored 11 runs in the fifth and final Twenty20 international.

The left-handed hitter has participated in 19 T20 Internationals so far, scoring a total of 543 runs at an average of 30.16, with 89 being his top score.
