In the current Legends League Cricket 2024, Konark Suryas made it to the summit match. In the tournament’s second qualifier, the team faced Toyam Hyderabad on Monday, October 14 at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar. Suryas batted first to open the match, and the team had a poor start.
Munaweera and R Levi, the openers, left after 18 and 6 runs, respectively. After Kevin O’Brien put 50 runs on the board, he stabilized the innings, but Yusuf Pathan and Navin Stewart did not follow up with strong efforts.
But in Qualifier 2, Irfan Pathan, a former all-rounder for India, stole the show. To help his team achieve 156 runs in the first innings of the match, Pathan came out to bat in the middle order and went undefeated with a score of 49 runs in 35 deliveries.

In the finale, Konark Suryas will square off against the Southern Super Stars.
In addition, Chadwick Walton and George Worker scored 10 and 8, respectively, to start Hyderabad’s innings as they came out to chase the mark. In order to bring his team closer to the goal, Rikki Clarke scored 67 runs while Peter Trego added 15 runs.
However, Irfan Pathan’s valiant efforts once again enabled his team to defend the total as Hyderabad appeared to be getting closer to the goal. When Suryas came out to bowl the game’s last over, he had to defend 12 runs off the final six deliveries, and he did a fantastic job channeling his old self, Irfan Pathan.
Konark Suryas won by one run and advanced to the tournament’s summit match thanks to Pathan’s ability to defend 12 runs off the last over.
