Pat Cummins, the captain of SRH, won the toss and decided to bat first against RR. They scored 201 runs against the Rajasthan Royals in 20 overs while only losing 3 wickets. SRH defeated RR by a mere run in a thrilling final-bowl match.
In the IPL 2024 points standings, the Pink Army is presently in first place, while SRH is in fifth. Travis Head, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Heinrich Klassen scored 42, 76, and 58 runs apiece for the SRH. The standout player for Sunrisers Hyderabad this year has been T Natarajan. He has so far performed exceptionally well against every team. He grabbed two crucial wickets of Shimron Hetmyer and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the game against the unbeatable Rajasthan Royals. With 15 wickets in 8 matches at an economy of 8.96, Natarajan takes the Purple Cap for the 2024 Indian Premier League after Thursday’s game against the Royals.

3. The only player without a cap to reach 400 runs is Riyan Parag.
The first uncapped player to reach 400 runs in the IPL 2024 is Riyan Parag of the Rajasthan Royals. His role as the team’s middle-order pillar can be described as such. He produced an incredible inning in a significant run chase against Sunrisers Hyderabad, scoring 77 runs off 49 balls with 8 fours and 4 sixes. 4. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar: SRH’s Hero
Bhuvaneshwar Kumar stopped 13 runs off 6 deliveries and then 2 runs off 1 delivery against Rovman Powell in a thrilling last-bowl match against the Rajasthan Royals. He supported SRH in their 202-run total defence against the IPL 2024 Points Table leaders. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar on Thursday showed off an incredible bowling performance against the Rajasthan Royals. Because of his efforts, he was named Player of the Match.
